Kentucky Forest Fire Contained (The Kentucky Post)

SLADE, Ky. (AP) -- Authorities in central Kentucky say a fire that burned more than 150 acres in Daniel Boone National Forest has been contained. Forest Fire Management Officer Mitch Gandy says the fire, which is northeast of Slade, is expected to burn 576 acres by the time it burns out.... read more
